What stays in your browser
Your practice attempts, in-progress rounds, and draft contributions are saved in your own browser's local storage. They are not sent to our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.
What we store when you sign in
Signing in with Google or Facebook is optional. When you do, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider to create your session. Questions, answers, and reports you post in Ask & Answer are stored on our servers and shown to other learners with your display name. If you create or take a friend challenge, your first name and your results on that challenge are shown to everyone else who takes it through the same link.
Advertising and cookies
Some pages, such as Ask & Answer and Lessons, show ads served by Google AdSense. Practice rounds never show ads.
